Alara Taneri Comes From a Background of Turkish-Cypriot Descent
Alara Taneri, a London-based fashion designer, hails from the Mediterranean island of Cyprus and proudly carries her Turkish-Cypriot heritage.
Alongside her brother, Ceylan Taneri, she stepped into the spotlight within the Netflix reality universe through the show “Dated and Related.”
Although information about her parents remains private, Alara shares a strong bond with her brother.
Alara joined the “Perfect Match” season 2 cast as a contestant and correspondingly entered the villa in the third episode.
In the show, Alara formed a connection with Stevan Ditter, a fellow reality TV star from “Too Hot to Handle” season 3. Their relationship has been one of the main attractions of the show.
They were considered to be the strongest couple in the villa, with Alara mentioning that Stevan “treats her like a princess.”
Unfortunately, the couple broke up after filming the completion of the show’s filming.
Stevan confirmed the news in June 2024, stating:
“You can’t expect anything just to be completely honest. You have to go in with an open mind, open perspective because it will never go the way that you think it’s going to go on reality TV.“
It seems their connection didn’t go well, and they couldn’t withstand the challenges outside the villa.
