Malia talked about her acting journey and revealed that her mother, Julia, gave her a 1-year deadline to land a big acting role, or she would have to quit.
She further shared her journey to the BET, stating,
“It’s because she’s a single mom. I have a younger sister and we were both doing a ton of activities. The city was an hour away and that’s where all the auditions were held.”
